JTV benefits from an Advisory Council drawn from media, the arts, academia, the military and the philanthropic community.

Advisory Council members include:

• Mr. Bill Mazer, veteran sports television and radio personality.

• Ms. Cynthia Ozick, award-winning author of "The Shawl," "The Pagan Rabbi," "The Messiah of Stockholm," and "The Puttermesser Papers," among other works.

• General Paul Vallely, retired in 1991 as Deputy Commanding General, U.S. Army, Pacific; Military Committee Chairman, Center for Security Policy, Washington, D.C.; military analyst, Fox News Channel and recent co-author "Endgame-Blueprint for Victory and Winning the War on Terror."

• Dr. Ruth Wisse, Martin Peretz Professor of Yiddish Literature and Professor of Comparative Literature, Harvard University.
